Chasing Dreams

I had a dream, so big, so bright,

It shined like stars in the quiet night.

It might have led me far to the sky,

If I hadn’t let the fear decide.

My dream was full of potential,

With something deep and truly essential.

I could have worked through night and day,

But I let my doubts get in the way.

There were facilities to help me grow,

Services to guide me and show.

I should have asked, I could have tried,

But I stayed alone and just denied.

Some dreams are unique, some feel identical,

But every path is diverse, not typical.

I saw aspects others did not,

I should have trusted what I’ve got.

Therefore, I dream in a brand-new way,

Learning from the past each day.

I write my questions, think about it every hour

To chase my dream with all my power.
