December

December's chill, a frosty embrace,

Winter whispers with a soft grace.

Snowflakes dance in the cold air.

Books and notebooks, a silent hush, tests are coming,

But holiday dreams light up the hall,

Festive decorations, filling each wall.

Ugly sweaters and jingling bells,

Friends exchange gifts, wrapped with glee,

Middle school magic, pure and free.

As the days shorten, nights grow long,

December's melody, a seasonal song.
