Let it be summer already

It’s the last module, I’m sitting in class,

Students are desperate for the summer break.

We try to survive with coffees, we might mix it with nes,

We cannot ruin our grades, there cannot be a mistake.

It’s the final countdown, the last one hundred meters.

The 12th graders are slowly but surely having their farewell,

They leave their cozy desks that were warm like heaters.

One more month and then there will come the last bell.

This school year flew over my head at a crazy pace,

As if last week I were a 9th and soon I will be an 11th grader.

I cannot fathom how all of this happened, it was just like a race,

But I guess at the end of the day it’s just us, kids, becoming better.
