Resignation

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Alex and a girl named Sarah. They met in high school and quickly became best friends. They were inseparable, some teenage boys and girls were really jealous of their friendship.

Alex and Sarah laughed together, shared secrets, and even finished each other’s sentences. After they spent more time together, they realized that they had feelings for each other, but they were too afraid to admit it.

One day, during a school dance class Alex finally gathered the courage to tell Sarah how he felt. With trembling hands, he confessed his love for her. Alex was really afraid, because he thought that Sarah would “ghost him” after this conversation. But he was wrong, because Sarah confessed that she felt the same way. They shared a magical moment dancing together under the lights, then Alex kissed the gorgeous girl.

However, their happiness did not last long. A tragedy happened when Alex was involved in a car accident on his way home from dance class. Sarah ran to the hospital, with her heart pounding with fear, immediately after her phone rang. When she arrived, it was already too late, Alex's parents were crying, and the doctor said that he was sorry, but he couldn’t do more to help the poor teenage boy.

That was the moment when Sarah realized that she had lost someone irreplaceable. The girl was heartbroken. She couldn’t imagine her life without Alex by her side. Everywhere she looked, Sarah was reminded of him. But although Alex was no longer physically with her, she felt his presence in her heart. In the end Sarah realized that their love would live on forever.
