Spring from a Bird’s Perception

Hi, I am a black thrush, and my favourite season is the spring. In Romania, spring is the most beautiful season because the trees are budding and I can find more food than in winter.

In winter it’s so cold, so I can’t sing, that is why I am happy in spring. I sing every morning and I search for my pair. In spring we can see many flowers.

One day I flew above the forest near Kolozsvár. I stopped at Saint John’s Spring for a drink, because I was thirsty. I saw many people there. I think they were hikers and they had very big backpacks.

There were many children too, playing loudly. Close to them I saw many snowdrops, many other purple and other colourful flowers too, and so many insects, yummi! My lunch was ready!

 I love spring very much!
