The New Year's Party - part 1

Part1

Nov 19.

I was at my favourite coffee shop, I ordered my favourite drink of all time, my macha latte. I was sitting all alone, airpod in my ears ofc, and I started listening my Christmas song playlist, I know that it is jut November, but I’m that type of girl whose Christmas starts right after Halloween.

I just got back to college because I had spent the weekend at my dad, my mom went missing when I was 6 six years old, and so after that it was just me, my dad and our dog, Beer. We named him Beer, because the first thing Beer learned was to grab a beer for dad, interesting, right? So, back to the coffee shop, I was sitting on a beanbag, (this is why I love this coffee shop, it is so modern) and someone sat down next to me, I looked up and I saw Jenny, my roommate in college.

“Heeey, wyd?”

“Nothing special, I was listening to my playlist.”

“Of course you did, look, we are in college, I think you should try going on parties, you know what they are, did you hear about something like that?

“Haha, real fun, maybe! Actually, can we go, we are going to be late!

“Right, let’s go.”

I was right behind Jenny, and we were going outside, but a little kid got in my way and I didn’t want to hit the little girl, so I almost fell, but someone back got me, yeah, so the guy wasn’t that happy about it...

“Hey, watch out where are you going, dance head!” said to me Daniel, I know exactly who he is and he knows who I am. He is the basketball team’s leader, and the biggest problem-guy I have ever seen.

“Jeeez, chill, sorry, you don’t have to be that rude.”

“Awwww, sorry, did I scare you, don't cry, dance head. He is so arrogant, I’m not that small, but next to him I’m a dwarf, so he leaned in my face and started acting like I am a baby, his friends next to him were having fun too, I was so red because of the anger, so I responded him this way:

“It’s okay girl, I forgive you.”

“I’m not a girl.”

“Sorry, I thought only girls liked the pumpkin spice latte. I was pointing with my eyes at the drink in his hand, his friend started laughing so loud that everybody looked, and I embarrassed him sooo bad.

“That’s not mine, that is my girlfriend’s drink!”

“Yeah, yeah, if you say so,” I told him standing with my back to him until I opened the door and left the place with big laughter behind my back.
