My parents got confused and picked the weird kid

Who enjoys reading and dreaming,

Instead of going out and talking,

She enjoys her company but still craves affection,

Her mind is full of thoughts about the future

When she doesn’t even know who she was then

She hopes of being normal one day,

Escaping the fantasy she has been living in for years,

Cause she finds comfort in love and magic

More than in hookups and catch phrases.

Her parents worry they chose wrong

'Cause what if she isn’t so special after all,

They just wish for a normal kid who can live in the moment not the future
