Weekend

Children start school on Monday,

Everything seems normal,

The kids lose a little energy by Tuesday,

Kids talk to their friends about what they want to do,

And Wednesday goes by too,

Only two more days to go,

On Thursday the tests come,

And the teachers say we look sad,

Friday seems endless,

As we wait for the weekend to free us,

But the weekend will come

And it's all about learning,

In the end,

Happiness comes from friends,

Who are with you all the way

From Monday morning to Friday night

Together we learn to correct,

The weekend's coming, with lots of work to do,

But with our friends we learn together.
