It was a gloomy day on the last day of school before winter vacation the teacher said that we would be watching a movie at class after school hours. The whole class was excited, but one particular kid was just as grumpy as ever. Ákos was timid and unhappy, since the day we had met him in first grade. For some reason he lost his Christmas spirit and hated the holiday.
After that, we went home to put down our backpacks and bring hot chocolate and all kinds of snack for the movie. When we arrived back to school, the teacher surprised us by bringing beanbags to the class so we could watch it more comfortably. Everyone had arrived except for Ákos, who we thought wouldn't come, since he wasn't interested in the idea from the start, but right before we started the movie, he came.
The teacher put on The Christmas Carol and brought us popcorn. After a while of watching the movie, Ákos went out to the bathroom, but when he came back, everyone was gone. He looked confused, thinking we were playing a prank on him and just went back to his seat.
The projector flickered and switched the display to a seemingly random home, he was even more confused, since no one was in the room except for him. Scared, he bolted for the door, but opening it, he found himself in the same room that was shown to him before. He slowly started to realize that he was now the main character from the movie.
The first spirit came to him with the same story as in the movie, but since he had already seen the movie, and he started sabotaging the spirits’ plans, and after a short grapple, the spirits gave up and let him go back to his monotonous, grumpy life.
