End

Where am I? Here, somewhere, anywhere.
Far removed from everything I used to fear
An immeasurable distance keeps me alive
Yet, it is consuming me inside
Rarely, I begin to ponder
Breathe a sigh of hard-earned relief
Reflect upon each triumph I achieved
And question existence's meaning
An unknown place inhabited by fools
An unfamiliar place I barely call home
Paradise of the wealthy and respected
A depth of hell in innumerable aspects
This very moment what shall I become?
A stranger at one place
Immigrant in the other
Two different versions of myself staring at each other
Bright smile, stretched from ear to ear
Moments slipping through my fingers
Teardrops tracing paths down my face
Concrete petrifies as I linger
Must remain in one place
One position, one mind of state
No way to turn, no means of escape
Must remain here
Buried in the grave
